Introduction.

It's the season of prunes, I looked and looked and finally I couldn't resist, I bought a bunch of them back to taste, and by the way, I also made some prune sauce, the period of enjoying the flavor was immediately extended, hehehe~.

Ingredients

Prune flesh: 1200g, salt: 1 spoon, yellow rock sugar: 300g, lemon: half a lemon.

Steps

Step 1: Soak prunes in water with a spoonful of salt (about 2g) for half an hour.

Step 2: Drain and core the plums.

Step 3: Add 1200g of prune pulp and 300g of yellow rock sugar into a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to low and simmer until the sauce starts to thicken (30 minutes), then add the juice of half a lemon and simmer until the sauce thickens.

Overall simmering time is about 50 minutes

Step 4: Put the plum sauce into sterilized airtight jars and wait until cooled down, then cover with lids. This amount can make about 450g of plum sauce.
