Introduction
Summer is hot, and the hot weather in Guangdong makes people hot and stuffy, feeling like they may have a heat stroke at any time
Generally authentic Cantonese green bean paste needs to put odoriferous grass, lotus seed, lily, kelp. However, I prefer to use Chen Pi to cook the green bean paste, the taste will be a bit more popular, and the operation is also easier.
Today I will share with you this summer heat eliminator, easy to operate and not complicated to use ingredients, let's make it together with me.
Ingredients
Green beans: 200g, orange peel: 2 pieces
Steps
Step 1: Put the green beans with water in the refrigerator and chill overnight. Workers can put them in the refrigerator to freeze the night before, and then take them out the next day when you come back from work and cook them. This is so that the green beans can come out of the sand, especially delicious!
Step 2: Prepare 200 grams of green beans, 2 slices of peel, 40 grams of red flake sugar.
Step 3: Soak the peel for ten minutes, then use a knife to scrape off the white inner capsule inside the peel and shred it. Because the inner sacs have a bitter taste, the flavor of the peel will be more fragrant after scraping away.
Step 4: Show you a comparison of scraping the inner sacs and not scraping the inner sacs, so that you know how far to scrape them.
Step 5: Add water to a casserole dish and cook the frozen green beans for five minutes over high heat.
Step 6: Bring to a boil, add the shredded peel and cook over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 7: Use a spoon to lift out the green bean shells from the surface of the water.
Step 8: Add red flake sugar and stir with a spoon until all the sugar melts away to prevent any sticking (no need to cover, just simmer like this)
Step 9: Cook for 20 minutes, then the bowl is ready. Let it cool and then put it in the refrigerator to chill. It's so nice to come out of the shower with a bowl of cold green bean paste!
